DIRECTORY OF NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS
The Metropolitan Planning Commission hopes that the Neighborhood Organization Directory will accomplish three objectives:
The Directory concentrates on neighborhood or subdivision organizations which have been formed to protect or improve the appearance or livability of their area. Specific organizations that have an interest in the livability of the Knoxville community as a whole are listed under "Special Interest Groups". The organizations are grouped according to their location by city or county sector. A sector map is provided for your convenience. This Directory would not be possible without citizen input and cooperation. MPC thanks everyone who provided names and addresses. We also wish to thank the Council of West Knox County Homeowners for sharing their membership list with us. We hope you will call, fax, e-mail, or mail the names of current officers as they are elected. A form for this purpose is in the Directory. Your cooperation will foster continued citizen participation in the development of the Knoxville area.
